Seven North Korean inventors received Geneva-based World Intellectual Property Organization (WISO) awards on Wednesday, May 1. The seven inventors were involved in two major projects: constructing monuments through” the three dimensional curve space stoning method” and making “Kaesong Koryo Insam powder.” WIPO member nations submit requests for the awards. The DPRK has been a member of WISO since 1976.
